The Sphinx Moth, a.k.a. Hawk Moth or Hummingbird Moth, looks like a miniature hummingbird.
They, and some hummingbirds, like our Salvia greggii, with the hummingbirds visiting several times
a day. One of them is so small that it isn't much bigger than this moth. As you can see, the moth
resembles a hummingbird and hovers to suck nectar the same way. You can also see, it has
a rather long proboscis.
