Lioness, a.k.a. Watch Cat

This lioness is owned by a couple who own a military vehicle museum in Anderson, IN.
The museum has two rather rare vehicles: 1) A Chinese Army tank (the only one in a museum
in the U.S. and 2) a M-1 Abrams U.S. Army tank. To be able to have this tank, the museum
had to have a background investigation by the FBI as part of the approval process. The owner
put down 'watch cat' as part of the security provisions for the museum on his application. When
an FBI agent came to inspect the premises, he asked "What is tthis watch cat?" When the
owner showed him the lioness, he understood.

The lioness is let out of her cage at night and roams the museum. The owner says he sees
tracks where she jumps over jeeps and trucks. There is a school next to the museum and
there had been some instances of vandalizm. After the owner got the lioness, he brings
the incoming class to the museum for a tour and explains about the watch cat. He says
there have been no vandalizm instances since he started doing that. The property is
surrounded by a high fence with barbed or razor wire on top.

The owner got the lioness as a cub. It was not being cared for by its mother and was going
to be destroyed. Someone told the owner about it and, as he had a permit to own such
animals, he took it to save its life.
