This Short Horned Lizard, a.k.a., Horned Toad, was sitting next to our front sidewalk one day.
He seemed disinclined to move, so I got my camera and took a couple of pictures. He paitently
waited around until my wife got home a little while later so she could see him.

Horned Toads seem to thrive here. While cutting weeds, I ran across this youngster below.

Horned Toads have different color varations. The ones above are a light color. However,
the one below, photographed the same day as the one immediately above, is a darker
color and seems to have more varied coloration also.

The two horned toads below spent a morning mating at the back of our our house.
They had just finished one mating session before I got my camera and I caught them in this
'tender moment.'

I came across these two horned toads fighting next to our patio.
